What a positively cheery outlook Thomas.

And I’ve heard that it’s going to suck, I’m going to regret it, it’s a waste of time, etc. But you know what I’ve decided? I’ve decided to go, and see what I think of it because a lot of the time other peoples’ opinions don’t match my own.

And who knows, maybe it’ll be a lot of fun. I’ve heard people regret not going as well so I don’t want to be in that category either. All I can do its hope for the best, it’s too bad you’re not going Thomas.

I volunteered at a middle school in Albany back in the day. I was only there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I went in on one Thursday and the place was literally rioting: kids wouldn’t go to class, stuff flying around, teachers hiding in their rooms. What set it off? A teacher told 3 students they had to stay for detention. So they jumped him. 8th graders. Jumped him. And then rioted the next day.

Ah, those were the days.
